Inclusion & accessibility

Informations about Inclusion & accessibility at Lieblingswolf.de

Some people may wonder what inclusion and accessibility have to do with online retail and online shopping. At the beginning, we didn't know exactly how we could contribute to improving accessibility with our online store. But after taking a closer look, there were a few points that clearly played a role from the perspective of people with disabilities.

For many, these points may not be of great importance, but that's exactly the point: we want to make shopping in our store as easy and convenient as possible for everyone. We have therefore already implemented the following improvements to make online shopping easier for people with disabilities.

Contrasts between text and background (updated on 20.11.2024)
To make texts clear and recognizable, we make sure that the contrast between text and background is sufficiently high. We have made slight changes to the colors in our online store to ensure that all texts are easy to read.
Example before and after:

Spacing between links / line spacing (updated on 03.12.2024)
To make it easier to click on links, we have increased the line spacing. Especially when using a tablet or smartphone, it is now easier to click on the desired link without accidentally clicking on the link above or below it.
Example before and after:

ALT texts for product images and photos (updated on 18.01.2025)
ALT texts help to better recognize and understand the content of images. They also clarify what is shown in a photo. This helps, for example, to better understand the connection between the photos and the products on offer.
Example before and after:

Easy to understand texts (updated on 27.02.2025)
We have tried to make all product descriptions simple and easy to understand. We have also taken care not to use unnecessarily long or difficult to read words and have tried to explain the various products as well as possible.

There are various programs and options, for example in web browsers, which make it easier to use pages on the Internet. For example, you can zoom in and out in any popular browser such as Firefox, Chrome or Edge to improve the readability of smaller texts.
Screen readers can read a website to you. Screen readers are often already integrated into the operating system (Windows, Android, iOS, etc.).

We are constantly trying to improve the accessibility of our online store. If you have any problems with the operation of the store or problems when shopping or searching our store, please write to us so that we can find a way to improve your shopping experience and that of others.
